Who is responsible.
This policy applies to the Izabela Barabancea storefront and its administration interface. The operator identified below is responsible for the storage technologies it controls. Contact contact@izabelabarabancea.com for questions about this policy or your device preferences.
This document complements the Privacy policy. It explains access to and storage of information on your device under Romanian Law 506/2004, Article 4, and the GDPR where personal data is processed. The exception for strictly necessary technologies is distinct from consent for optional purposes.

Cookies and similar technologies.
A cookie is a small value kept by your browser and sent with relevant requests to the site that set it. Session storage keeps information for a browser tab’s visit and generally ends when the tab closes; a browser’s session-restoration feature may restore it. Local storage can remain between visits and is not automatically deleted by the browser when an application-defined expiry date arrives.
These rules concern similar device-storage technologies as well as cookies. Calling a technology local storage does not make an optional purpose exempt from consent. All the items listed here are first-party technologies used for the purposes described below; they are not a customer account or permission to track you elsewhere.
What is necessary for a visit.
The active selection and selected language can be kept in session storage after you use those functions, so that they continue to work as you navigate or reload the tab. These copies serve the visit you request and do not require optional remembering between visits.
The administration sign-in uses a separate, signed authentication cookie, created only after successful login. It lasts up to eight hours and is cleared at logout. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Strict, is limited to the host and uses Secure on the production HTTPS site. Its value is not available to storefront JavaScript. Changing the server-side credentials or signing secret invalidates existing tokens.
There is currently no customer account login on this storefront. Browsing or refusing optional storage does not create an administration session. The sign-in cookie is not an advertising identifier.
A separate preference cookie records the policy version, time and two yes/no choices for up to 180 days, including when you refuse optional storage. It does not contain your name, e-mail, payment details or a unique tracking identifier. Recording this decision is necessary to respect it and avoid repeatedly asking the same question.
What you may allow us to remember.
Remembering your language and remembering your selection between visits are separate, optional purposes. Both are off by default. Only your affirmative choice enables the relevant persistent copy; closing the panel, scrolling, continuing to browse or accepting the sales terms does not grant permission.
If you allow one purpose, its local-storage value is used only while that permission is valid, for at most 180 days from your decision. Values have an application expiry and are removed when the site next checks storage after expiry, or when you withdraw that permission. You can remove the physical browser data sooner through your browser settings.
The two first-layer choices allow necessary-only operation or both remembering purposes, with individual controls available in the same panel. Refusing optional storage leaves browsing, the active visit and ordering available. This storefront currently installs no optional analytics cookies, advertising pixels or social-network embeds.
The technologies used here.
The inventory describes the application’s own storage. Cookie names identify functions, not marketing partners. A preference decision has the same maximum duration whether it permits or refuses optional storage.

Change your mind at any time.
Open Cookie preferences in the footer or use the control below. Enable or disable each remembering purpose and save, or choose Necessary only to refuse both. Refusal is available at the first layer and does not require contacting us.
Withdrawing a permission immediately stops further optional reading and writing for that purpose and removes this application’s persistent copy. The active visit can continue using session storage; withdrawing optional remembering does not sign you out of administration or delete its strictly necessary authentication cookie. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing based on consent.
You can also remove site data, block cookies or close the tab through your browser. Deleting the decision cookie causes us to ask again; optional remembering remains off until a new valid choice. If storage is unavailable, the interface applies a current-visit fallback and tells you when a decision cannot be saved for future visits.
Checkout, external links and hosting.
A separate checkout or payment provider may use additional technologies needed to complete or secure a transaction. The relevant information must be provided where those services collect or store data. Consent given here concerns only the two remembering purposes described here; it is not blanket permission for other providers or future tracking.
Instagram and Facebook links take you to an external service when you choose to follow them. Those services may then use their own cookies under their own policies. Their content is not embedded as a tracking feed in this storefront.
Hosting and security providers may process network information in logs or apply technical security measures. Server logs are not the same as a cookie on your device. The Privacy policy explains relevant purposes, recipients, transfers and retention criteria; deployment-level or checkout technologies must be assessed if their configuration changes.
Your rights and updates to this policy.
Where cookie-related information is personal data, the GDPR rights explained in the Privacy policy apply. You may send a request to the contact above or complain to ANSPDCP or another competent supervisory authority. You do not need our approval to make a complaint.
We update this policy when storage purposes, duration or providers materially change. An additional optional purpose requires the relevant prior information and consent; a previously saved preference is not treated as permission for a new purpose. The date above identifies this policy’s current version.
