A dream, made by hand.

Founded in 2018 as IB Unique Swimwear, the brand began with Izabela’s desire to create something personal: crochet swimwear with refined details and signature tassels. Each design grew from time spent creating, experimenting and discovering what a simple thread could become.

In 2026, the brand took its designer’s name, Izabela Barabancea. This new chapter brings together resortwear, swimwear, accessories and pieces for children, while keeping the intimacy and care of the original atelier.

Our crochet pieces are made by skilled artisans in the Sibiu region of Romania. Traditional techniques meet contemporary shapes, from openwork dresses to tactile sets and delicate finishing touches.

Working by hand gives each piece its own rhythm and character. Small variations in texture and stitch are part of the process; care, wearability and the design you have chosen remain essential. Materials and details are described individually for each piece.

We design for freedom of movement, femininity and the pleasure of wearing something that feels personal. Our world moves between the beach, a summer evening and the moments in between.

Some designs are available in small quantities; others are made to order. The product description and the atelier’s confirmation explain availability, sizing options and production time, so that you can choose with confidence.
